As a response to the Corona Virus, we have begun to offer some Alexander Technique teaching online.
We have found this has some very positive aspects, and is more than simply a compromise – distance no longer matters. Whether someone is in Scotland, Argentina, Greece or just around the corner, they can take a lesson with Gunda or join in a group workshop.
Lessons and workshops online are slightly cheaper than work in person, since they cannot involve the wonderful hands on experience of the Technique. Nonetheless, experience has shown that the highly developed guidance and observational skills of the AT are extremely useful in online teaching and very helpful for enabling the pupil to change their muscle tension and habits of thought.
- An individual lesson online costs £30 (£25 conc.)
- A beginners workshop can be arranged as interest arises (minimum of 3 people). 2hrs for £25 per person
