Continuing Professional Development

If you’re a recently qualified Alexander teacher, or would like to refresh your skills, we’re here to support you.

We offer Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for Alexander Technique Teachers in the form of individual lessons, group workshops or by joining in with our Training Course.

“I really enjoy the way Gunda teaches. It got me thinking out of the box and all of it was extremely informative yet fun at the same time”

– Jane, AT Teacher and Musical Instrument Maker.

Joining the Training Course for CPD on a Pay as You Go Basis.

We value having trained teachers exploring the Technique further in our school, and as such we only charge £5 an hour if you are happy to give a few turns to our trainees in the first hour of the school day.

However, if you are refreshing after a long period of inactivity as a teacher, or just prefer not to give turns, you will be charged at the same rate as our trainees, which is £10 an hour. This can be discussed individually.

“In a time where being busy is the constant and the norm, visiting ATTSW is a welcome chance to remind myself to stop, step back, make space and allow myself to happen.

No push, no force, just release and allow.

The Alexander Technique for me is not just a different approach to posture, but a different approach to life.”

– Fritha.
